RISE 14 – Renowned Speakers for March 2014 Forum

As CEO of Mainstay Capital Management, David Kudla, was proud of the impressive line up of speakers and special guests that were in attendance at RISE14. Former Federal Reserve Bank President and 2014 FOMC voting member, Sandra Pianalto, delivered the keynote address. RISE14 also featured presidents and CEOs from prominent firms in the industry. As a special guest, Louie Vito - Olympian, four-time U.S. Grand Prix Halfpipe Champion, and 2014 Winter X Games co-host and SuperPipe silver medalist – delivered an inspirational speech to attendees on the importance of drive and perseverance at RISE14.

In addition, the RISE Forum partnered with CNBC as the "Official Broadcaster" for RISE14. CNBC's Kelly Evans had hosted the "Closing Bell" live from the conference and Dominic Chu, CNBC markets reporter, reported live from the conference throughout the day as well. Jim Cramer, host of CNBC’s “Mad Money” and founder of TheStreet, addressed the audience live via satellite for a markets discussion and Q&A session.

The continued growth of RISE is due to the fact that it allows students to network with top industry associations, such as the CFA Institute, as well as CEOs and policymakers, to gain insight into current challenges and opportunities in the financial marketplace. David believes that to really have an impact on the future of the industry, you need to put yourself there with the students, get involved, and show them how it's done the right way, all things that are exemplified by RISE.

Disclosure Information - Rankings and Awards

Barron's Magazine - Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors

According to Barron’s: The rankings are based on data provided by individual advisors and their firms. Advisor data is confirmed via regulatory databases, cross‐checks with securities firms and conversations with individual advisors. The formula Barron’s uses to rank advisors is proprietary. It has three major components: assets managed, revenue produced and quality of practice. Investment returns are not a component of the rankings because an advisor’s returns are dictated largely by the risk tolerance of clients. The quality of practice component includes an evaluation of each advisor’s regulatory record. The data is based on one fiscal year (7/1/22 - 6/30/23) and appeared in Barron’s on 9/18/23.
